Out of Stock Flu Shots for Over 3 Year Olds

January 13, 2013 — We are currently out of stock of flu shots for children over the age of 3.  We still have flu vaccine available for children 6 months to 3 years old.  At this time, we are not able to get anymore flu vaccines, but we are still checking on this.

For Teens Only: Evening Clinic

September 13, 2012 — Our evening teen clinic, which will now be offered every other week, has been very popular.  This is from 6-8 PM in the upstairs Satellite office where only teens are being seen.  Dates and providers vary, so please contact the office to find out upcoming dates.  Sports physicals for forms can be done which is a briefer physical, but your child must be up-to-date (within 2 years) of having had a regular full physical.

August 10, 2012 — Yes, El Camino Pediatrics is now on Facebook and Twitter and we will be bringing you news from the pediatric world.  We will also share important life events from our staff and video tips from our doctors!  See our latest video from Dr. Levy on tips for disciplining your toddler!  Dr. Wood also has a Facebook page and Twitter for her Kids Eat Great information and website.

Dr. Kevin O’Leary to Join ECP!

June 10, 2012 — Many of you may have met Dr. O’Leary in the last 3 years in our office.  He has worked once a week in the office as part of his pediatric training.  We are very excited to announce that he has chosen to join El Camino Pediatrics starting in August.  We already know from some of our patients that have seen him either in our office or some who have met him at Rady Children’s Hospital that he already has quite a following!  Please read his bio here.

Study Opportunity

December 22, 2011 – A research group from the American Academy of Pediatrics is coming to our office in January to interview parents with children between the ages of 1 year to 5 years of age. Participants will meet in groups for approximately 90 minutes on an evening and will receive $50 for their time. Halloween Candy Buy Back Success!

November 8, 2011 — Thank you to all the participation from the families for our 2nd Halloween Candy Buy Back we organized with Davis Pediatric Dentistry and Yoshikane Orthodentics.  It was a huge success as we collected about 800 pounds of candy this year in a 3 hour span!   [Read more...]

Office Alert

June 22, 2011 — On June 17, we had an unfortunate mishap in our main office with a water leak (more like a small flood!) and damage due to a broken pipe in the office above our Suite B105 office.  Our waiting room, reception and checkout area downstairs are closed off and are in the process of being reconstructed.  We are moving along quickly and hope to have everything back to order in another couple weeks.  We apologize for the inconvenience.   [Read more...]

Welcome Natalie McNally, PNP

November 2010 — We are extremely pleased to add a new member to our El Camino family of health providers, pediatric nurse practitioner, Natalie McNally. She is a local to North County, having graduated from Torrey Pines High School.  She attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she played collegiate volleyball and earned her Bachelors degree in physiology.  She then moved back to San Diego and completed the nursing program at University of San Diego (USD).

She gained experience working as an emergency room nurse for three and a half years, while attending  USD and earned her Masters in Nursing and her degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).
Natalie lives in Solana Beach with her husband Paul who is also a Nurse Practitioner. In her free time she enjoys running, cycling, swimming, hiking and yoga.
